2PM.Network aims to revolutionize the way AI models are utilized within the privacy computing domain by establishing a network of AI model subnets, thus fostering an ecosystem for privacy computing models. This approach leverages decentralized technology to not only enhance privacy but also to distribute the benefits of AI more evenly across the network.

What is a Subnet in 2PM.Network?

A subnet in 2PM.Network refers to a specialized network within the broader 2PM ecosystem that focuses on a specific AI model or a group of models that serve a particular function. Each subnet operates under a unified framework but is tailored to the needs and specifications of the AI model it supports. This modular approach allows for flexibility and scalability, enabling the subnet to adapt to new technologies and requirements as they arise. For instance, each subnet can deploy its related contract suite on any Ethereum Virtual Machine compatible blockchain. This flexibility allows subnets to take advantage of the security, transparency, and interoperability features offered by various blockchain platforms.

Governance and Standardization Through 2PM DAO

The governance of network nodes and the standardization of subnets within 2PM.Network are predominantly managed by the 2PM DAO. The DAO plays a crucial role in proposing new use cases, establishing data standards, and building new AI model subnets. It functions as a democratic entity where community members contribute to the decision-making processes.

Participation in the 2PM DAO

To participate in the 2PM DAO, community members are required to stake $2PM tokens into the DAO treasury. In return, they receive $DMP token (DAO Token), which grant them voting rights and influence over the network's developments. This staking mechanism ensures that participants are invested in the success and integrity of the network, aligning the interests of individual contributors with those of the entire ecosystem.

When a new AI model network is successfully established, contributors and participants in the 2PM DAO are rewarded with a proportion of Royalty Tokens specific to the AI model developed. These tokens provide a financial incentive and recognize the contributions of community members towards building new subnets.
